Two weeks ago a few of my friends and I went on a little road trip to Omaha, Nebraska. You may think why Nebraska? Well we had good motives. Nickelback, Breaking Benjamin, and Shinedown had a concert that was a must to attend. That sounds a little crazy to drive 36 hours (roundtrip) to see them in concert but it was well worth the drive and we were able to see some fun places on our way. Nebraska is very flat but beautiful as well. A bunch of farms had some cute old red barns but I wasn't able to get any good pictures of them. I did get some fun pictures of downtown Omaha at the Old Market center though. These buildings are very old, I love them. There was antique stores everywhere so I was in heaven. I hope you enjoy these pictures...
This old church reminds me of the chapel off of Guns N' Roses November Rain music video. Yeah?
The above photo and the next two are taken in the town of Gothenburg. Sounds German right? Well apparently Gothenburg is the home of the original Pony Express. We saw a sign on the highway that stated, "The Original Pony Express" and thought we would pull off to check it out. All us girls thought there would be more than just the little cabin but it was still interesting to see. I don't know what we were expecting.
The next photos are taken at the Old Market. I love this place.
I thought it was a little ironic that an ice cream parlor would have a weighing machine
The last three pictures are taken in Colorado. So green and beautiful
Sincerely,
"Ms. That"
